I too am a fan of committees. Focused groups with a singular purpose in mind. However, I am appalled at the thought of a "Culture Committee" to determine WHAT the culture of your company is or should be. The culture should evolve, over time, generally from leadership down by the policies they put in place and the nature of the environment they build. Anytime a company tries to purposefully "create" a culture artificially, especially forced by committee, they are just asking for disaster.
